Job Description

  • Drive and support initiatives on core & non-core ancillary products and services across AirAsia groups such as baggage, seats, insurance and other ancillary products and services.
  • Support and guide AOC Ancillary teams in terms of overall Ancillary business
  • To support the creation of additional touch points for sales on Ancillary related products.
  • Handle, manage and track the progress of special projects related to which requires support from internal and external teams and ensure that the initiatives are seamlessly executed throughout AirAsia Group.
  • Identify ideas, and new ancillary revenue sources and define a suitable strategy for AirAsia to implement them.
  • Develop and follow-through on a comprehensive road-map and project tracker by prioritizing the project pipeline.
  • Propose solutions to improve sales performance on sales channels such as AA.com, mobile, check-in counters, kiosks, live chat and other applicable channels.
  • To support activities involving approving ancillary-related invoices and commissions.
  • Role as a key driver for commercial product executions across AirAsia Group.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills. Making sure that communication is working well between all the different departments
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent presentation skills, delivering results and ideas to different stakeholders in the business, including senior management and other members of staffs
  • Good problem-solving skills. Able to think outside of the box and come up with quick solutions to problems.
  • Able to keep one eye on the competition, staying up-to-date where necessary
