Your new role:

Are you looking to take the next step in your retail career? At Baby Bunting you will have the opportunity to continue to build successful career in retail where there's no limit to your potential!

We are currently looking for skilled retail experts to join our team at our upcoming Manukau store, scheduled to open in late 2023. As part of the preopening process, you will play a vital role in various operations, such as team recruitment, training, and store setup.

As a Store Manager, you will work closely with your team to connect with and understand the unique demands of new and expectant parents by providing exceptional customer service that goes beyond expectations.

Working closely with the Area Manager and Store Support team, you will play a pivotal role in -

  • driving commercial success of your store.
  • maintaining store standards and processes.
  • recruiting and developing a team of exceptional individuals, offering growth opportunities, training, and performance feedback.
  • practice a safety-first culture for both staff and customers, ensuring all OH&S standards are met and exceeded.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • previous retail management experience (2-3 years) – preferably with a larger format retailer
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to manage people with ease.
  • the ability to guide customers through our range of products and brands.
  • a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • an empathetic leader who takes pride in seeing their team succeed.
  • career driven leader who is committed to professional development.
