NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer - MicroLED - Chip
Responsibilities
- Definition and implementation of measures to optimize product properties from development to production handover
- Creation and continuous optimization of a safe launch concept, cost optimization and yield roadmap for new products as part of a development project
- Evaluation and validation of the results in cooperation with cross-departmental experts from development and production departments
- Analysis of data using statistical methods to determine yield detractors and influences of processes on product properties (YMS-yield management system)
- Support of wafer-lots for customers, evaluation and validation of the results in cooperation with experts from development and production
- Technical management of cross-departmental problem-solving teams and task forces
- Application of lessons learned in past experiences to new projects and product ramp-ups
- Cooperation in an international, interdisciplinary (cross-functional) team
Qualifications
- University degree in physics, microsystems technology or comparable
- Relevant professional experience in semiconductors i.e. processing and support of wafer-lots
- Profound knowledge of semiconductor technology and semiconductor physics required
- Know-how of problem-solving methods (e.g. 8D) advantageous
- Experience in programming and dealing with AI desirable
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, proactive and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong intercultural competence
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, knowledge of German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel (<20%)
